What I Read This Weekend

This book captured my attention for the last 24 hours.  For me, who has been hooked on J.A.'s more suspenseful and linked together books that begin with Rook and Ronin and end with Guns (and available as a 7 book set for $4.99 for week only), and then proceed with Dirty, Dark and Deadly (3 books), Meet Me in the Dark, and Wasted Lust (with an earlier assist from 3-2-1), this was a serious departure to some lighter and sweeter moments, some very hot moments, and a boost to my ego.  Is Fletcher a player?  or a genius?  This is without a doubt a perfect book!

Also on my kindle this holiday weekend was Cee Smith's  debut novel, Stolen Donor,   Think Aleatha Romig's Consequences, but fortunately for me, better in so many ways.  Kidnapped, but without the physical abuse.  Domination, but with the possibiltiy of a whole healthy relationship.  And, my favorite part, shorter.  Smith has potential to develop into a fine romance writer.  My biggest question in this story was "how much can money really buy?" but then I have to remember--this is romantic fiction.  I hope to read Fractured, the next in this series to see how things go for Hailey and Dominic.
